Before you start
You don't need an account to browse meetings. They're public.
Step 1: Open the Meetings page
From your government's portal, click Meetings in the main navigation.

Depending on your government's default, the page opens in either Calendar view or List view. You can switch between the two at any time.
Step 2: Switch between Calendar and List view
Use the view toggle in the left sidebar to change how meetings are displayed.

Dates with meetings are highlighted and clickable.
Dates without meetings are greyed out.
Switch between Week and Month modes using the sidebar toggle.
Click Today in the sidebar to jump back to the current date.
Click a highlighted date to see the meetings scheduled for that day.
List view

Meetings are shown as compact cards in chronological order, anchored to today.
Meetings are split into two sections: Upcoming Meetings and Previous Meetings. To navigate beyond the initially displayed events, click the Load more button located at the bottom of the respective list.
Step 3: Filter meetings
The filter card in the top control panel.
IMAGE: Filter card with a Year dropdown, Meeting Body multiselect, and a "With Published Agenda" toggle
Available filters:
Year — pick a specific year or show all years.
Meeting Body — multi-select one or more bodies (e.g., City Council, Parks Commission). Or choose All Bodies.
With Published Agenda — turn on to hide meetings that don't yet have a published agenda.
If your filters don't return any results, you'll see a message like "No meetings found for [Year]. Try adjusting your filters." Loosen a filter to see more.
Step 4: Read each meeting's status at a glance
Each meeting card shows:
Date and time — the day, month/date, and start time.
Title — the meeting's name.
Meeting body — which body is meeting (e.g., City Council, School Board).
Location — where the meeting is held, marked with a pin icon.
Status badges — color-coded indicators of what's available:
Badge | Meaning |
Live (red, pulsing) | The meeting is currently happening — click to watch. |
Completed | The meeting has ended. |
Cancelled | The meeting was cancelled. |
Agenda (green) | A published agenda is available. |
Minutes (amber) | Approved minutes are available. |
Media (blue) | Video is available (live or recorded). |
Transcript (teal) | A transcript is available. |

Live meetings are also highlighted with a red border and a gradient background so they're easy to spot.
Step 5: Open a meeting
Click any meeting card to open its full detail page — where you can watch the video, read the agenda, see minutes, and download documents.
For what's on the detail page, see How to View a Meeting.
Common questions
Why are some dates greyed out in Calendar view? Those dates don't have any meetings scheduled. The calendar only highlights dates with a meeting you can view.
Can I subscribe to a government's meeting calendar (ICS/Google Calendar)? Calendar export isn't built into the Meetings page right now. Follow the government (see How to Follow a Government) to have upcoming meetings appear on your dashboard instead.
Where can I find older meetings? Use the Year dropdown in the top control panel to pick a past year, or review the Previous Meetings box and the Load more past meetings button.
Why is a meeting marked Cancelled still on the list? Cancelled meetings stay visible for the public record. The red "Cancelled" badge and hidden agenda/minutes badges make it clear nothing happened that day.
